From Tax Lawyer to Guayusa Adventurer
I lived a busy corporate life in our capital city Amsterdam. Because I worked there as a tax lawyer for international accounting firms. During this period, however, I regularly wondered whether this challenging job with excellent salary and future prospects is matching enough with my personal ambitions. In fact, I was drawn towards adventure. Both for entrepreneurship and for exploring my love for South America.
Finally, these passions convinced me to exchange my successful corporate career for the adventurous combination: backpack – long journey of discovery of South America. This period specifcally provided me with the opportunity to explore my entrepreneurial ambitions.
My South American adventure has set my course as an entrepreneur. Deep in the Ecuadorian Amazon, I namely discovered the exceptional guayusa tea. An unique tea that, despite its 2000-year-old history as “Energy of Amazon Hunters”, also perfectly matches the needs in our European societies.
As a result a mission was born: to convince Europe of the exceptional qualities of guayusa tea. A great adventure with many challenges. And moreover sacrifices. After all I needed to sacrife my career and 2 university degrees for this dream. But with the ultimate result. an exciting life that you, just like a Jivaro guayusa tea, really experience!
